He who asks fortunetellers the future unwittingly forfeits an inner intimation of coming events that is a thousand times more exact than anything they may say.

...For presence of mind is an extract of the future, and precise awareness of the present moment more decisive than foreknowledge of the most distant events.

Omens, pre-sentiments, signals pass day and night though our organism like wave impulses. To interpret them or to use them, this is the question.
